Billing Orthotic Management & Training and Prosthetic Training Codes

Revisions were made to the Orthotic Management & Training and Prosthetic Training Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes to more accurately differentiate between initial and subsequent orthotic and prosthetic encounters. As of January 1, 2018, 97762 has been deleted and should not be billed. Instead of one code for both initial and subsequent encounters, now codes 97760 and 97761 are used for initial encounters only.
