Lessons Learned From Participating in a Community Low Vision Consortium
To expand the presence of occupational therapy in the practice of low vision, I became a founding member of a regional low vision consortium in 2009 in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York State. My participation with the consortium fostered better outcomes with my clients, furthered my professional growth, and helped create a fulfilling business.
